I BELIEVE IN THE VIRTUAL.
I lead PwC’s VR/AR proposition, helping clients understand and quantify the benefits of immersive technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality.
On a personal level, I am invested (both mentally and financially) in VR and AR. I believe these technologies will play a significant role in how we live and work in the future. I’ll also tell this to anybody who will listen and have spoken at conferences and festivals across the world from SXSW in Austin to the Battle of Ideas in London.
As part of my mission to educate, connect and inspire, I am the co-president of the London chapter of the VR/AR Association, a global industry trade group for virtual reality and augmented reality with chapters, committees and 3,700+ organisations as members worldwide.
Having come from a mixed British/Arab heritage, I was born in London but spent most of his life living in Dubai. I returned to the UK to study mathematics at the University of Southampton and met my Turkish wife while spending a semester abroad at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara.
I also happen to be a Chartered Accountant (but prefer not to advertise that too loudly!).
